Calloway

Calloway’s story began with hope.

She was born at Barb’s Dog Rescue in Rocky Point, Mexico, after her mother, Winslet, was rescued from unimaginable circumstances. Of the entire litter, Calloway was the only puppy to survive. From the very beginning, she and her mom formed an unbreakable bond that has lasted a lifetime.

Calloway spent the first 12 years of her life at Barb’s Rescue before making the journey to Midway Sanctuary with Winslet. Now 13 years old, she continues to be her mother’s loyal companion, rarely leaving her side. Whether they’re sharing a cozy bed or enjoying a peaceful afternoon together, their love for one another is truly something special.

Calloway has a gentle but protective personality. She adores squeaky toys, shoulder rubs, and chew bones that keep her happily occupied for days. While she’s perfectly content snuggled up with her mom, she also enjoys the occasional adventure exploring the sanctuary grounds.

After a lifetime of waiting, Calloway has finally found a place where she and Winslet will always be safe, loved, and together. We are honored to give them the forever home they both deserve.
