Don’t let the wheels fool you. Dale is built for speed! Named after racing legend Dale Earnhardt, this sweet boy zips around in his wheelchair with confidence and joy. His wheelchair isn’t something that slows him down; it’s his ticket to adventure, and he absolutely loves it! When he’s not in his chair, Dale happily scoots around to explore.

Dale’s favorite things in life are simple: neck and shoulder rubs, chewing on a good bone, and chasing after his favorite toys. He has a gentle, loving personality and is always ready to share his big smile with everyone he meets.

Dale’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. He was rescued in Costa Rica after being hit by a car and was one of eight special dogs transported to the United States in search of a better life. For the past three years, Dale has been living at Midway Sanctuary, patiently waiting for the family who will see just how incredible he is.

Dale doesn’t let his disability define him. He is happy, resilient, and full of love. All he’s missing is a home where he can be cherished for the amazing dog he is.
