Pup-Pup

Pup-Pup is the definition of a gentle soul.

At 16 years old, this sweet Lab mix came to Midway Sanctuary as an owner surrender. While we don’t know everything about her past, we do know one thing for certain and that’s her future is filled with comfort, love, and the care she deserves.

Pup-Pup is one of the kindest dogs you’ll ever meet. She quietly respects the space of her housemates and has a calm, peaceful presence that makes everyone around her feel at ease. She has severe arthritis, so keeping her comfortable is our highest priority. Daily pain medication, soft orthopedic beds, and plenty of time to rest help her enjoy each day to the fullest.

When Pup-Pup falls into a deep sleep, you’ll often hear the sweetest little snore, a sure sign that she’s completely relaxed and dreaming peacefully. It’s one of the many little things that makes everyone smile.

Like any true Labrador, Pup-Pup has a big love for food! After mealtime, you’ll often see her making her rounds, carefully checking for any tiny morsels her friends may have left behind. And when it comes to affection, she can’t get enough. She loves leaning against her favorite people and happily melts into a full-body massage, soaking up every gentle touch.

Pup-Pup reminds us that growing older doesn’t mean loving less, it means appreciating life’s simple comforts even more. We are honored to give her the peaceful retirement every senior dog deserves.
